EDWARD J. MCSPIRIT
MARCH 24, 1937 - AUGUST 28, 2005
Ed was born on March 24, 1937 to parents Ed and Dot McSpirit. He was born in Hackensack, NJ and lived in Westwood and Hillsdale. Ed was a star athlete who was accepted at West Point, but opted to attend Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. Ed was a sales associate at the Home Depot in Succasunna for 15 years. Prior to that, he worked at Seminole Manufacturing in New York City for 29 years.
He married Marjorie in 1972 and moved to Livingston, NJ. He lived there the remainder years of his life and succumed to cancer on August 29, 2005. Besides Marjorie, he is survived by two sons, Stephen and Timothy "Tug"; two daughters Dori and Susan and grandchildren Michaela, Stephen, Hallory, Jake and Jillian.
